obsession...

I find that I tend to go through obsessive little phases with the things I cook or bake, making the same thing over and over again when I find a great recipe, until we just can't take it anymore. This fall and winter I've been a little (a lot!) fixated on this Coconut Curry Butternut Squash Soup, a recipe which I stumbled across by accident one day. I tend more towards the savory camp when it comes to butternut soups, so this recipe is just heaven in my book.
Do you have any favorite recipes from these winter months?

We've been on a soup kick around here too. It's just the right measure of comfort and warmth, especially when you are fighting a cold (which we seem to have been doing since December!). My current obsession is making Pasta Fagioli soup. It's a great way to get lots of veggies into both Eleanora and Ben! Can't wait to try your squash soup - sounds delicious!

Mmmmm... that looks so yummy. I am dying to introduce you to my favorite soup from a Portland delicatessen called "Elephant's." It is divine and makes you wish every day was cold and rainy... soup weather. (I am also thrilled to see the napkin made it in the pic.) xoxo

Betsy-

This soup looks good. I know what you mean when you say you get stuck on a certain recipe for a while-me too. This winter I have been stuck on a traditional food over here called "Bangers and Mash." I just can't get enough. Here is the recipe if you want to try something new

Happy cooking!
