Ciao.

Happy New Year to you, a bit late! I am so excited for the unfurling of this year; I have high hopes for the many good things that will come out of it. We are so blessed in so many ways- too many ways to count, really! My heart is feeling so full of gratitude for the many blessings in my life as I enter 2012.
Something I'm looking forward to most most most of all is the trip to Italy that Nick and I are taking later this year. We are out of our minds with anticipation, and been listening to Italian tapes to try to learn a bit of the language before we leave. Do you have any recommendations of anything we shouldn't miss? I'd love to hear!

Travelling to Italy You shouldn't miss this lovely place, at the Amalfi-coast, in Praiano > http://ihuvudetpa.elvaelva.se/resa/italien/102-ca-pa Sorry about the swedish, but there's a little "lost in translation" google-thing that maybe gives you a hint about the content :-) /ciao, Sofija.

Well, italian ice cream, of course! And lots of it, too! :)

Depends where you're travelling to. But...avoid tourists as much as possible and don't dress like "tourists" with ridiculous shorts and confortable shoes...

Betsy! How great you guys are going to ITaly! That was our favorite place to visit in all of Europe. Awesome food, wine and sites! My best advice for traveling in Europe is to arm yourselves with Rick Steve's guidebook- the best by far. Plus he has free downloads on his website for audio guides to many popular sites so you can listen while you walk through- it's like having your own tour guide. What towns are you planning on going to?

Wonderful! We took an amazing belated honeymoon in 2010 and toured all around, from the Alps to Amalfi. It was so fabulous. Have an incredible time!
