I'm wild about this new vermillion sumi ink I found at my favorite art store the other day....it is the cheeriest color, especially for cupcake partyinvitations, don't you think?
OH, BETSY.........I love these. wow a Cupcake party and your handwriting, what could be more special....and your photo layout is really cute, I love looking at these.
Betsy, I just saw your comment on my blog (thank you) and find it coincidentally "non-coincidental" to have encountered you twice in two weeks. Your calligraphy work is B-R-E-A-T-H-T-A-K-I-N-G. And I love your blogs... My only regret is that I sent out my wedding invitations years ago!
Do you mind me asking what your favorite nibs and inks are and where you buy them? Also, I see you use a straight pen holder. Do you ever use an oblique holder? (I took a class a while back and am hoping to get back into it.)
Hi Betsy, I almost never comment on blogs, but I'm so inspired by your work and your story, I just wanted to say thanks and keep up the good work! You're very blessed to have such a fun day-job. :) -Kate
